Finally!

After months of waiting, I finally got my hands on both a Nintendo Wii and a copy of Super Smash Bros. Brawl! It's awesome, and really fun to be able to play Brawl endlessly without having to worry about a looming Odyssey Project.
Since both the Brawl and Odyssey Project countdowns are complete, I have been forced to make a new countdown. I have thus made a countdown counting down to the DC Comics event Final Crisis, the conclusion to the 'Crisis' trilogy that began with Crisis on Infinite Earths and Infinite Crisis. My countdown also shares the name of a DC weekly called "Countdown to Final Crisis", which will (suprise, suprise) lead directly into Final Crisis. The pic included with this post, which depicts one of the 52 Monitors, is the cover of issue #26 of this series. The pic at the bottom of my blog is a teaser for Final Crisis as well.
Enjoy your Spring Break, everyone!

Played any Brawl recently? Seriously, you have to have EXACT timing if you're going to play as Ike and frankly, I have lost more times with him than with any oher character (and I don't lose a lot either). I'm shying towards Toon Link and Marth right now, one easy to unlock, the other not so much.

I have a proposition to everyone out there how either has the game or plays it on a regular basis: Add your top 3 brawl characters to your "currently whatever" sidebar in your blog and display it for the world to see.

Just added 'em, Will. I just unlocked Sonic, and he is awesome! He's really good and extremely fun to play as. I also really like Snake: he's a little slow, but really powerful, and his mines can be devastating if you set them up right. He also has one of the best Special/up moves in the game. Marth was my favorite in the last game, and he's still kickin'. His final smash is one of the best, if not the best, there is.
I liked Ganondorf in the last game, but he's way too slow in this game.

I haven't done much of the Subspace Emissary yet; however, I only have 5 characters left to unlock (ROB, Game and Watch, Toon Link, Jigglypuff, and Wolf).
I'm at the part with Zero suit Samus and Pikachu.

Today, I plan on changing the fight settings so I can do the 450 brawls that unlocks all of the characters, even the hidden three. Also, who wants to go see The Superhero Movie today? email me if yes: k_boots@sbcglobal.net

I'm in the middle of the Great Maze. Turns out the only person I actually unlocked during Subspace Emissary was Game&Watch. I played 160 brawls to unlock everyone else, and I don't even know how I got Sonic. (I unlocked his stage first with a hammer, and he randomly appeared after playing there a couple times).

Its that movie with Drake Bell where they make fun of superhero movies. Also, this is very sad, but I just spent four hours unlocking Toon Link. That was the biggest waste of time EVER.

How long are you gonna be gone?
And I've unlocked everyone! Toon Link was the hardest, I think. Wolf's so fun to play.
