This poetry project is really annoying.
I feel like T.S. Eliot's character J. Alfred Prufrock, trapped in a constant state of procastination. I have completed three reader responses for the poetry project, and one paraphrase (I'll have to redo the paraphrase, though, cause I think I did it wrong).
I'm really fearing the emulation the most, because in order to write like T.S. Eliot (my poet), I would have to quote Dante constantly (in the original Italian, no less), and make thousands of references to books about the King Arthur legends that no one has ever heard of before. UGH.
Anyway, I saw "Iron Man" over the weekend, and may see it again next weekend. For the in-depth reviews of that movie, check out the super blog.
Also, I thought I heard Maffey say in class today that the satire article is due on Friday, the same day as the poetry project! Does anyone know if that's true? 'Cause if so, that would really suck...
